Terms and Conditions for Motorhome Rental
1. Introductory Provisions
These Terms and Conditions govern the rights and obligations related to the short-term rental of motorhomes between the Owner (hereinafter referred to as the “Owner”) and the Renter (hereinafter referred to as the “Renter”). By reserving a vehicle or concluding a rental agreement, the Renter confirms that they have read these Terms and Conditions and agree to them. These Terms and Conditions form an integral part of the rental agreement.
2. Driver Requirements
The rented vehicle may only be driven by a person meeting the following conditions:

The driver must be at least 25 years of age.

The driver must hold a valid Category B driving licence for at least 2 years.

Foreign drivers may use an International Driving Permit.
-
Each driver must present a valid identification document (passport or national ID card).

Documents must be presented at the time of reservation and on the day of vehicle collection.

The maximum number of drivers is 2. The second driver must be declared in advance.
-
No fee is charged for the second driver.
-
The vehicle may only be driven by persons listed in the contract.
-
The owner may refuse to hand over the vehicle to a driver who does not meet the conditions, is under the influence of alcohol or narcotic substances, or whose behaviour raises doubts about safe driving.

A deposit of 50% of the total price must be paid at the time of reservation.

The remaining amount must be paid by bank transfer or online payment.
-
The remaining amount must be paid no later than 4 days before vehicle collection.

Reservations made less than 5 days before pickup require full rental payment.

Advance payment ensures smooth vehicle handover and prevents payment issues

Payment for the rental is made cashless by bank transfer.
-
Reservations are accepted only by email and through the reservation system on the website.

The reservation is binding once the deposit is received and confirmed.

The Renter must provide a refundable €900 security deposit at vehicle collection.

The deposit amount equals the insurance deductible for any claim.
-
The Owner may cancel the reservation if full payment and the deposit are not received.
-
The Owner bears no responsibility for delays caused by a breakdown or accident.
-
The Owner may only declare a claim for the refund of the amount already paid.
-
The Owner bears no responsibility for delays or the inability to provide the vehicle caused by force majeure, vehicle breakdown, or a traffic accident. In such case, the Renter is entitled only to the refund of the amount already paid.

The rental price depends on the type of vehicle and the season.

Prices are in EUR and include liability and comprehensive insurance.

Payments may be made by bank transfer or another method agreed in advance.

The Owner reserves the right to adjust prices in the event of changes in conditions.

The price confirmed at the time of reservation is always decisive.

Some accessories and equipment are available as optional paid extras.
-
Additional equipment or optional services must be requested during reservation or upon request.

The current offer and prices of additional equipment are always listed in the reservation system on the website. Tick the relevant option or leave it unmarked.
Minimum rental period
-
3 days in low and mid season
-
5 days in high season (15 June – 15 September), during long weekends and public holidays.
5. Security Deposit
-
Upon collection of the vehicle, the Renter must provide a refundable security deposit of 900 EUR.
-
The vehicle has comprehensive insurance with a deductible of €900 and 24/7 roadside assistance.
-
The deposit serves as security for damage to the vehicle and loss of equipment.
-
The Renter is responsible for interior damage, improper use, or excessive dirtiness.
-
The deposit must be provided no later than at the time of vehicle collection.
-
The deposit must be paid by credit/debit card or by another method agreed in advance.
-
Deposit returned within 7 working days if no damage, defects or missing items.
-
The deposit will be returned after verification that no damage, defects, or loss has occurred.
-
If damage or defects are found, the deposit will be retained until the damage has been assessed and any remaining balance will be returned.
Upon vehicle collection, a refundable security deposit is required:
Fees
The following fees may be deducted from the deposit or may be arranged for an additional charge:

€60 cleaning fee for a dirty interior after the rental.
-
€50 for emptying the cassette WC (toilet).
-
€25 for emptying grey water (waste water).
-
€25 for refilling fresh water.
-
€20 for an empty fuel tank plus the cost of refuelling according to the current fuel price.
-
The Owner is entitled to deduct traffic fines or excessive cleaning costs from the deposit.
-
Loss of documents or keys is charged at €250 per item.
-
Filling the drinking water tank with fuel is subject to a contractual penalty of €2000.
-
In the event of incorrect refuelling, compensation for damage in full shall also apply.
-
Smoking, unauthorized animals or subletting may result in full loss of the deposit.
-
If the damage exceeds the value of the deposit, the Renter must pay the difference.
-
In case of late return of the vehicle, a fee for an additional rental day may be charged.
6. Vehicle Handover and Return
The handover and return of the vehicle always takes place at the place and time specified in the contract.
Vehicle collection by the Renter

The vehicle is handed over clean, with full fuel tank, and in technically roadworthy condition.

The vehicle is handed over with a full water tank – 100 litres of service water.
-
The vehicle will have both waste tanks empty (waste water tank + WC).
-
The vehicle will have a gas bottle available and ready for operation.
-
Vehicle documents including keys and remote control.
-
The vehicle has comprehensive insurance and 24/7 roadside assistance
-
The Renter is obliged to inspect the vehicle and sign the rental agreement upon collection.
-
The specific list of vehicle equipment is always included in the handover protocol.
-
The Renter is instructed on vehicle operation and equipment at handover.
-
At the time of vehicle handover the full rental amount must be paid.
-
No later than before the vehicle handover the security deposit of €900 must be provided.
Vehicle return by the Renter
-
The vehicle must be returned at the agreed time and place specified in the contract.
-
Any change of place or time of return must be approved in writing.
-
If difficulties with the return occur, the Renter is obliged to inform the Owner.
-
In case of late return of the vehicle, a fee for an additional rental day may be charged.
-
The returned vehicle must be clean, drivable and free of loss or damage.
-
The fuel tank must be full, as well as the water tank (100 litres of water).
-
Waste water tanks and the toilet cassette must be completely empty and clean.
-
The Renter is obliged to return all documents and keys including remote controls.
7. Rights and Obligations of the Renter
The main Renter is particularly obliged to:

The Renter must use the vehicle according to its intended purpose and the rental agreement.

The main Renter is responsible for all persons using the vehicle.
-
The Renter must not allow the vehicle to be driven by a person not listed in the rental agreement.
-
The Renter is responsible for all traffic offences and fines during the rental period.
-
The Renter is responsible for all damage to the vehicle occurring inside or outside the vehicle.
-
The Renter must secure the vehicle against theft and is responsible for losses.
-
Return all documents and the exact number of vehicle keys, including remotes, to the owner.
-
Comply with the agreed time and place for vehicle handover and return.
-
Comply with all rules and restrictions set out in the Terms and Conditions.
8. Insurance and Liability
- The location and time of vehicle handover are specified in the agreement.
- The vehicle is handed over clean, with a full fuel tank, and in technically sound condition.
- The renter must inspect the vehicle upon handover and sign the handover protocol.
- The vehicle must be returned clean, with a full fuel tank, in technically sound condition, and in the same condition as when handed over.
- The vehicle must be returned at the agreed time and location stated in the agreement.
9. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation or modification of the reservation must be made in writing (by email).

In case of cancellation by the customer, cancellation fees apply.

If notified more than 30 days in advance, 100% of the total payment will be refunded.
-
If notified 30 to 15 days in advance, a cancellation fee of 50% of the payment applies.
-
If notified less than 15 days in advance, the reservation payment is non-refundable.
-
The cancellation fee will be charged and deducted from the already paid deposit.
-
If the reservation is cancelled less than 4 days before the start of the rental, a cancellation fee of 100% of the rental price will be charged.
10. Prohibitions and Restrictions

Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
-
Use of the vehicle at festivals or sporting events.
-
Driving in unsuitable terrain or off paved roads.
-
Transporting more persons than permitted.
-
Subletting the vehicle to third parties constitutes a breach of the terms.
-
Commercial use or transportation of persons for payment is prohibited.
-
Smoking or unauthorized animals in the vehicle results in full loss of the deposit.
-
The vehicle may be used only within the Balearic Islands unless stated otherwise in the contract.
-
Use of the vehicle outside this territory is considered a breach of contractual terms.
-
Violation of these conditions entitles the Owner to immediate termination of the rental.

11. Accident or Breakdown
Procedure in case of an accident
Regardless of who was responsible for the accident, once you ensure that all passengers in the vehicle are not injured and are not in danger, you should:

Turn on the hazard warning lights.

Activate the warning beacon (V-16); a reflective vest is mandatory.
-
In case of injury call emergency services (112 in Spain).
-
Move the vehicle to a safe place if the situation requires it.
-
Use the European Accident Statement (EU form).
-
Contact the roadside assistance service, the Owner, or the police (via number 112).
-
Obtain the contact details of the other party involved in the accident + photographs of the accident.
-
The driver must not admit fault until the accident has been investigated.
-
No repairs may be carried out without the consent of the Owner.
-
The detailed accident procedure is provided by the Owner to the Renter on the day of vehicle handover.
12. Personal Data Protection

The Renter hereby agrees to the processing of their personal data for the purposes of creating a reservation and concluding the rental agreement. The Owner processes the Renter’s personal data solely for the purpose of executing the rental and in accordance with the applicable legal regulations on personal data protection, including the GDPR Regulation. The Renter hereby agrees to the processing of their personal data for the purposes of creating a reservation and a rental agreement related to the rental.
13. Governing Law and Language

All legal relations between the Owner and the Renter are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Spain. In all communication and statements related to these Terms and Conditions and its business activities, the provider has the right to use its preferred language.
14. Final Provisions

These Terms and Conditions form an integral part of the rental agreement. The Owner reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions. For a specific reservation, the Terms and Conditions valid at the time of its confirmation are always decisive.
